We believe everyone belongs in an accessible and inclusive space.


Accessibility Policy

At Beautyworks Day & Medi Spa, we’re committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We believe that all guests and team members should be able to access our services with dignity, independence, and respect.

We follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code to remove barriers and ensure equal access to our facilities, services, and employment opportunities.
 
Our Commitment
We treat everyone with fairness, courtesy, and respect.
We aim to identify and remove accessibility barriers wherever possible.
We ensure our policies and practices reflect the principles of inclusion and accessibility.
 
Staff Training
All Beautyworks staff receive training on accessibility, including:
- How to interact with and assist guests with various disabilities
- How to accommodate assistive devices, service animals, and support persons
- What to do if someone is having difficulty accessing our services
Training is provided to new employees and reviewed regularly.
 
Assistive Devices, Service Animals & Support Persons
Guests are welcome to use personal assistive devices and bring service animals or support persons when visiting the spa. If a temporary health or safety restriction applies, we’ll work with the guest to find a respectful and accessible solution.
 
Communication
We communicate in ways that consider each guest’s needs. Information can be provided verbally, in writing, or electronically. We’ll work together to find a method that’s most comfortable and effective.

Feedback
We welcome feedback about accessibility at Beautyworks.
Guests can share comments or concerns:
In person or by phone
By email or in writing
All feedback goes directly to management, and we aim to respond within 14 business days. Accessible formats are available on request.

Employment & Facilities
We provide accommodations during hiring and throughout employment, ensuring accessibility in our workplace.
When making changes to our public spaces, we design with accessibility in mind.
 
Review & Availability
This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure continued compliance and improvement.
It’s available to the public in accessible formats upon request.

We believe everyone deserves to relax, rejuvenate, and feel cared for in a space that’s accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all.
